Special Educational Needs
If your child has special educational needs
Seaford Primary School welcomes all children equally to our school and believe that we all benefit from learning and playing together in a fully inclusive community. We recognise that each child will have their own unique learning journey and we celebrate their strengths and achievements regardless of their starting point. We understand that children with identified additional needs and disabilities, as well as those whose needs are yet to be formally identified, may require a range of adjustments and interventions to ensure that they fulfil their potential. Staff recognise the value of developing resilience and independence in all areas of learning and are well trained to identify needs, next steps and the support required for each child to thrive.
We believe in working in partnership with parents and professionals to identify needs and develop provision to ensure that each child receives Quality First Teaching and any additional interventions needed to make progress academically and in their social emotional development. We are very proud of our strong relationships with parent-carers in our school community.
